Using the Hardware Requirements node of the Configuration Manager console, administrators can delete custom hardware requirements for software title information stored in the Asset Intelligence catalog.

Existing, non-custom hardware requirements information stored in the Asset Intelligence catalog is read only and cannot be deleted. |
Use the following procedure to delete custom Asset Intelligence catalog hardware requirements.

To delete a custom hardware requirement

In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database (<site code> - <site name>) / Computer Management / Asset Intelligence / Customize Catalog / Hardware Requirements.

Right-click the software title name with the custom hardware requirement that will be deleted, and click Delete.
Note If the Configuration Manager console action pane is displayed, the custom hardware requirement can also be deleted by clicking the software title name with the custom hardware requirement to be deleted and then clicking Delete in the action pane. -
Click Yes in the Confirm Object Delete dialog box to delete the custom hardware requirement.
