Configuration Manager 2007 provides a broad range of supported languages and other capabilities that enable you to centrally manage a multilingual Configuration Manager 2007 site hierarchy. For example, Configuration Manager 2007 supports:
- Multiple language versions of the
Configuration Manager 2007 console.
- Multiple language versions of the
Configuration Manager 2007 client.
- Double-byte and single-byte character sets
for both servers and clients.
The following sections describe how you can use each of these features to plan for and centrally manage a multilingual hierarchy.
This section provides current language support information for each of the seven Configuration Manager 2007 server languages and lists the client languages supported by each of these packages. You must adequately plan for the language requirements of each site including site server and clients. Each localized site server supports only certain localized clients. After you have fully planned how to address your hierarchies' language needs, you plan, deploy, and configure your sites as recommended in the planning and deployment sections of this guide.
