By default, all addresses can be used all the time for data of all priority levels. However, you can set schedules for addresses to determine when certain priorities of data are sent.

You must have Modify permission for the site security object class or instance to perform this procedure. |
To set the schedule of a sender address
-
Navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Site Management / <site code> - <site name> / Site Settings / Addresses.
-
In the results pane, right-click the sender address that you want to schedule data priorities for, and then click Properties.
-
In the sender address properties, click the Schedule tab.
-
Select a time period during which the data can be transferred by dragging the rectangle over the hours you want. The selected time period appears in the box below Scheduled availability for selected time period. (For example, Monday through Friday, 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.).
-
Specify the priorities of the data that can be sent to this address during the specified time period. To do so, select an option in the Availability list.
-
Configuration Manager 2007 can use this address as a substitute if another address to this site fails. To prevent this address from being used as a substitute during the selected time period, select Unavailable to substitute for inoperative addresses.
-
To specify other time periods, repeat steps 4 through 6.
