The New Hardware Requirements Wizard is used to specify the hardware requirements for a specified software title.

The information in this topic applies only to Configuration Manager 2007 SP1 and later.

This page contains the elements described in the following table.

All fields are required.

Name Description

Software title

Specifies the new software title name.

Validation state

Describes the current validation state of the hardware requirement. By default, all new custom hardware requirements are user-defined.

Minimum processor speed required (MHz)

Specifies the minimum processor speed required for the software title in megahertz.

Minimum RAM required (KB)

Specifies the minimum amount of RAM required for the software title in kilobytes.

Minimum free disk space required (KB)

Specifies the minimum amount of free disk space required for the software title in kilobytes.

Minimum disk size required (KB)

Specifies the minimum hard disk size required for the software title in kilobytes.

Goes to the previous page of the wizard.

Next

Goes to the next page of the wizard.

Finish

Goes to the Summary page of the wizard.

Cancel

Discards the settings and exits the wizard.
