When a Configuration Manager 2007 site is enabled for Wake On LAN, software updates that are configured with a deadline can be configured for Wake On LAN with the option Enable Wake On LAN. This option is specified as a software update deployment property, and it can also be enabled in the Deploy Software Updates Wizard on the Deployment Schedule page.
Use the following procedure to configure an existing software update deployment for Wake On LAN.
To configure a software update for Wake On LAN

In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Software Updates / Deployments.

Right-click the deployment you want to configure for Wake On LAN, and then click Properties.

On the Schedule tab, select the option Enable Wake On LAN.

Click OK.
