Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 backup and recovery supports mobile device management. Mobile device packages, collections, certificates, and reports can be backed up against the possibility of data loss.
Requirements for Backup and Recovery of Mobile Device Management
In order for Configuration Manager 2007 to back up mobile device management, the Backup destination site must be specified with the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the site server. For more information about backing up Configuration Manager 2007 sites, see Backing up Configuration Manager Sites. For more information about scheduling a site backup maintenance task, see How To Schedule a Site Maintenance Task.
Recovering Mobile Device Management Site Servers
When restoring a mobile device site server, the site will be restored to the state of the server the last time it was backed up. Mobile device management will be restored with other features of the restored Configuration Manager 2007 server. For more information, see Tasks for Recovering a Site.
