Use this tab to view the site database server properties. A site database server is a server that hosts the Configuration Manager 2007 site database. The site database server can be the same computer as the site server if Microsoft SQL Server has also been installed to host the site database, a stand-alone SQL Server computer, or a clustered virtual SQL Server instance.
The site database server can perform one or more roles unless the site database is hosted by a clustered virtual SQL Server instance. In this situation, no other site system roles can be assigned to the computer.
