The Configuration Manager 2007 R3 Power Environmental Impact by Day report displays the following information:
- A graph showing the total daily
CO2 saved (in tons) for computers in the specified
collection for the last 31 days.
- A graph showing the average daily
CO2 saved (in tons) for each computer in the specified
collection for the last 31 days.
- A table showing the total daily
CO2 saved and the average daily CO2 saved for
computers in the specified collection for the last 31 days.
The Power Environmental Impact report calculates the amount of CO2 saved (in tons) using the time that a computer or monitor was turned off in a 24 hour period. Whenever the computer or monitor is turned off (or in sleep or hibernate) during this period, it is considered to be saving CO2. By applying a power plan that turns off computers and monitors that are not being used, you can increase the amount of CO2 saved.
