The Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Action menu and shortcut menu display choices appropriate to the currently selected console tree item. For example, when you select Site Systems, clicking the Action menu and then pointing to New displays choices appropriate for creating new site systems.

To display the Action and shortcut menu

  • In the Configuration Manager console, on the MMC menu bar, click Action.

Or:

  • Right-click an item.

Or:

  • Use the APPLICATION key on your keyboard to display action menus in dialog boxes.

To show or hide the Action pane

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, on the MMC menu bar, click View and then click Customize.

  2. In the Customize View dialog box, select the Action pane check box and then click OK.
