Use the following procedure to run a status message query in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007.

| No security rights are needed to run a query, but query results are limited to the security objects you have Read permission for. | 
To run a status message query

In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / System Status / Status Message Queries.

In the results pane, right-click the status message query you want to run and then click Show Messages. 
- 
In the Prompted Status Message Query dialog box, specify the required options for the status message query. Click OK to display the results in ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer.
