Use the following procedure to run a status message query in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007.

Note
No security rights are needed to run a query, but query results are limited to the security objects you have Read permission for.

To run a status message query

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / System Status / Status Message Queries.

  2. In the results pane, right-click the status message query you want to run and then click Show Messages.

  3. In the Prompted Status Message Query dialog box, specify the required options for the status message query. Click OK to display the results in ConfigMgr Status Message Viewer.
