You can change the location that Configuration Manager 2007 uses to store downloaded packages on client computers. The default location is %windir%\system32\CCM\Cache.

Use the following procedure to set the location of the program download folder on a client computer:
To set the location of the Program Download folder:

On the client computer, open the Windows control panel.

Right-click Configuration Manager, and then click Open.

Click the Advanced tab.

In the Temporary Program Download Folder box, click Change Location.

Browse to a folder, and then click OK.

Click OK to save your changes and close the window.
