Use the General tab of the Configuration Manager 2007 Status Threshold Properties dialog box to specify the number of status messages of a specified type that must be generated by the selected component to change its status in the Component Status Summarizer.
- Message type
- Displays the severity of status messages for which you want to change the thresholds. You can change this value in the Thresholds tab of the Component Status Summarizer Properties dialog box.
- Status message thresholds
- Specifies the number of Warning and Critical messages that this component must generate in order to cross the Warning or Critical thresholds.
- Warning (messages)
- Specifies the number of status messages that must be generated by this component to change its status to Warning in the Component Status Summarizer. The default value is 2000.
- Critical (messages)
- Specifies the number of status messages that must be generated by this component to change its status to Critical in the Component Status Summarizer. The default value is 5000.
- OK
- Saves the changes and exits the dialog box.
- Cancel
- Exits the dialog box without saving any changes.
- Help
- Opens the help topic for this tab of the dialog box.
