Use the General tab in the Configuration Manager 2007 deployment template name properties dialog box to specify the deployment template name and description.
The General tab contains the following elements:
- Name
- Specifies the name of the deployment template. The template name must be unique and help to describe the objective of the deployment template.
- Description
- Specifies the description for the deployment template. The description should provide an overview of the deployment template configuration and other relevant information that helps to identify it among others in the Deployment Templates node of the ConfigMgr Administrator console.
- OK
- Saves the changes and exits the dialog box.
- Cancel
- Exits the dialog box without saving any changes.
- Apply
- Saves the changes and remains in the dialog box.
- Help
- Opens the help topic for this tab of the dialog box.
