Any existing Configuration Manager objects in Active Directory Domain Services are not automatically removed by Configuration Manager when the site stops publishing site data. The objects need to be removed manually. Failure to remove Configuration Manager objects from Active Directory Domain Services can cause problems for client auto-assignment and roaming. To determine site information published to Active Directory Domain Services, see How to Verify That Site Information Is Published to Active Directory Domain Services.

To stop a Configuration Manager site from publishing site data to Active Directory Domain Services
