The Advertisements console tree node in Configuration Manager 2007 displays advertisements and information about the programs that are being advertised. The Advertising console tree node and subnodes are located in the console tree as follows:

System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Software Distribution / Advertisements.

Within the Advertisements node, the New Advertisement Wizard is used to create advertisements for existing programs. For more information, see New Advertisement Wizard.

These advertisements can then be used to distribute new or existing packages to client computers using the Distribute Software Wizard. For more information, see Distribute Software Wizard.
