Use the out of band management feature in a Configuration Manager 2007 SP1 (or later) site if both of the following conditions apply:
- You want to manage computers with the tasks,
features, and supported scenarios that are listed in Overview of Out of Band
Management.
- You meet all the prerequisites for out of
band management as listed in Prerequisites for Out of
Band Management.
