When you disable a device driver, no Configuration Manager 2007 client computers can install the disabled device driver. You can disable a device driver if a newer version is available or if you want to temporarily suspend the device driver's availability.

The driver that will be disabled is displayed in the window as well as its associated Name, Provider, and Class information.
