The Application Compatibility Toolkit Connector (ACT Connector) is a tool that assists with assessing Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP deployment readiness. After the ACT connector is installed, a node is created in the Configuration Manager 2007 administrator console.

Use the following procedure to install the ACT Connector.
To install the ACT Connector

Install and configure a Configuration Manager 2007 site.

Download the System Center Configuration Manager Application Compatibility Toolkit Connector from Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 - Application Compatibility Toolkit Connector in the Microsoft Download Center (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=196123) and install the Application Compatibility Toolkit Connector on the computer running the Configuration Manager 2007 administrator console.

On the Welcome page, click Next.

On the License agreement page, select I accept the license agreement, and then click Next.

On the Installation page, click Next to start the installation. If you want to review the installation information you specified on previous pages, click Back.

Click Finish to complete the Configuration Manager 2007 Application Compatibility Toolkit Connector installation.
