Cloning a dashboard in Configuration Manager 2007 is the easiest way to create a new dashboard. The new dashboard copies the properties from the dashboard that is being cloned, and then the properties can be modified to meet your needs. Use the following procedure to clone an existing dashboard.

Procedure

To clone a dashboard

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Reporting / Dashboards.

  2. Right-click the dashboard to be cloned, and then click Clone.

  3. Type the name for the new dashboard in the New dashboard name text box, and then click OK. The dashboard name is required and must be unique.

  4. To modify the dashboard properties, right-click the new dashboard and then click Properties. For information about modifying the properties for a dashboard, see How to Modify Dashboard Properties.
