The Parent Connection page is used to confirm or configure existing parent site connection addresses recovered from the backup snapshot. If new parent site connection addresses were created after the site to be repaired was last backed up, you can add them.
The Parent Connection page of the Site Repair Wizard contains the following elements:
- Parent Site Code
- Displays the parent site code for the site to be repaired.
- Addresses for parent site
- Displays the addresses used by the site to be repaired to
communicate with its parent site.
- Click New to start the New Address
dialog box to add a new parent site connection address. It may be
necessary to add a new parent site connection address if any were
created after the site was last backed up.
- Click Properties to display the
properties of an existing parent site connection address.
- Click Delete to delete an existing
parent site connection address.
- Click New to start the New Address
dialog box to add a new parent site connection address. It may be
necessary to add a new parent site connection address if any were
created after the site was last backed up.
- Recover data from parent site
- Recovers data from the site’s parent site that was created after the site was last backed up.
- Previous
- Goes to the previous page of the wizard.
- Next
- Goes to the next page of the wizard.
- Finish
- Goes to the Summary page of the wizard.
- Cancel
- Discards the settings, and exits the wizard.
