You can use Configuration Manager Service Manager to control the services that Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 uses. In Service Manager, you can view the status of any Configuration Manager 2007 services or components that are running on any site system. You can start, stop, pause, resume, or query Configuration Manager 2007 components. You can also use Service Manager to enable or disable logging, configure the log file size, or set the log file path.

To start Service Manager

  1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Tools / ConfigMgr Service Manager.

  2. Right-click Service Manager and then click Start ConfigMgr Service Manager.
