Use this tab to set the default Configuration Manager 2007 class and instance security rights on this object. To see and configure this tab, you must have Administrator permission on this node, or on at least one object within this node.

The following columns are displayed in the Class security rights section:

• Name: Displays the Windows User account or group name for which the security right applies.
  
  
• Permissions: Displays the permissions granted for the account in Name for this security object class.
  
  

The following actions are available in the Class security rights section:

New

Opens the Object Class Security Right Properties dialog box, which you can use to create a new security right.

Edit

Opens the Object Class Security Right Properties dialog box, which you can use to modify an existing security right.

Delete

Deletes the selected security right.

The following columns are displayed in the Instance security rights section:

• Name: Displays the Windows User account or group name for which the security right applies.
  
  
• Permissions: Displays the permissions granted for the account in Name for this security object class.
  
  

The following actions are available in the Instance security rights section:

New

Opens the Object Instance Security Right Properties dialog box, which you can use to create a new security right.

Edit

Opens the Object Instance Security Right Properties dialog box, which you can use to modify an existing security right.

Delete

Deletes the selected security right.
