When you upgrade from Systems Management Server 2003 to Configuration Manager 2007, all existing operating system feature pack packages are displayed under the OSD FP Packages node. This node is created during the upgrade and will appear until all the operating system packages are deleted.

The Name, Manufacturer, Language, Version, and Package ID information associated with the selected operating system is displayed in the results pane. You can see additional associated operating system image information by clicking the View menu, and then clicking Add/Remove columns.

Note
You cannot create new advertisements or distribute the upgraded feature pack operating system images to distribution points. The upgraded operating system feature pack packages are not listed in the wizards and dialog boxes where you select other available Configuration Manager 2007 operating system images.
