When performing an unattended Configuration Manager 2007 Setup, you must create a setup initialization file (<filename.ini>) that will be used to pass installation setting instructions to Setup.exe. Depending on the type of setup you are performing (primary site, secondary site, or Configuration Manager console installation) the setup initialization file required sections and settings specified will vary.
To perform an unattended installation, run Setup.exe using the /script option. To perform the unattended installation with no user input, also use the /nouserinput command line option. For example, to perform an unattended installation with no user input, the command line would be:
<Configuration Manager setup files>\SMSSETUP\BIN\I386\Setup.exe /script <location and name of initialization file> /nouserinput
