You can choose the type of notification that you receive when an administrator tries to gain access to your computer. If you select a visual indicator, you can choose the indicator type and the frequency of display. You can also choose a sound indicator. In addition, you can choose to receive a message that asks if you want to grant permission each time a remote administrator attempts to gain access to your computer.

To set remote control notification options

  1. On a client computer, open Windows control panel.

  2. Click Remote Control.

  3. In the Remote Control Properties dialog box, click the Notification tab.

  4. Select or clear the appropriate options.

  5. Click OK to save your settings.
