When Remote Control is enabled on your computer, your administrator provides default settings that determine which remote control tasks can be performed. Unless your administrator has specified that your computer use the default administrator settings, you can modify these settings.

To determine the remote tasks that can be performed

  1. In Windows, open Control Panel.

  2. In Control Panel, select Remote Control.

  3. On the General tab in the Remote Control Properties dialog box, select the appropriate level of remote control allowed: no remote control, limited remote control, or full remote control.

    Note
If your administrator selected Use administrator settings, you cannot change any of these settings in this area.
  4. Click OK.
