Site-to-Site Communications

Before You Begin

Site servers enable a Systems Management Server implementation to be scaled from a single site to a multi-site hierarchy. Communication between sites is established with senders and addresses. Two types of site servers can be created to form a site hierarchy: primary site servers and secondary site servers.

Before you attempt the exercises in this chapter, Computer 1 must be configured as a primary site server. Computer 2 must be started as SERVER2 running Windows NT Server version 4.0 with Service Pack 4a installed.
