Download Product Compliance Information from Web Sites

Note    This procedure requires Internet access and an Internet browser, such as Internet Explorer version 4.0.

1. Open your Internet browser.
2. Use your browser to open the Web site that has the product compliance information you need.

   Note    To obtain Microsoft Year 2000 product compliance information, you can use the initial database provided with SMS 2.0, or you can update the information from the Microsoft Year 2000 Resource Center Web site, at http://www.microsoft.com/Year 2000, or the Microsoft Year 2000 Product Guide Web site, at http://www.microsoft.com/Ithome/Topics/Year2k/Product/Product.htm. To obtain Microsoft Euro product compliance information, you can visit the Microsoft Euro Web site, at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/topics/euro/default.htm.

3. Navigate to the link to the product compliance information file on the appropriate Web site. Right-click the link, and then click Save Target As or the equivalent command for your browser.
4. Save the database file to your hard drive.
5. Import product compliance data into your database.
6. Modify the product compliance properties as needed.
