Use this dialog box to limit when the specified event is
translated into a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) trap.
You set a limit so that traps are generated only when the frequency
of a Windows NT event causes you concern. For example, you can
generate an SNMP trap for logon failures if three failures occur
within 60 seconds. In this case, only one trap is generated, not
three.
Source
The software (an application, a component of an application, or
a component of the operating system) that logged the event.
Enterprise ID
The unique enterprise ID of the event.
Log
The Windows NT event log (e.g. application, security, or
system) to which the event is written.
Event
The identifier for the event as it appears in the Event Viewer
(a 16-bit integer).
Trap Specific ID
The specific ID of the trap that is generated by this
event.
Generate Trap If Event Count Reaches count
The number of times this event must occur before the SNMP trap
is generated
.
Generate Trap Within Time Interval time
The number of events specified in Generate Trap If Event
Count Reaches count that must occur within a finite
period of time. In the number box, type the number of seconds.
Description
A description of the event. This field can contain
string-replacement characters (%1, %2, %n). When the event
occurs, these characters are replaced by strings that vary
according to how and why the event was generated. This field cannot
be modified.
