After you run Network Trace, the
Network Trace window appears. This window displays a site map and
includes the following buttons:
Print
Click to print the map to the default printer.
Trace View
Click to display the current map in a trace layout.
Site View
Click to display all elements in the site.
Refresh
Click to retrieve data from the SMS site database
and redraw the map. Refresh the site map if Network Trace has been
open a long time or if site configuration has changed since Network
Trace was last run. When a site map is refreshed, any server status
information (what the Ping All and Ping Selected
buttons return) is erased.
Roles
Click to display or hide site system role
labels in the map. If you do not see role labels in the map, zoom
in; Network Trace cannot display role labels at certain zoom levels
because the text is too small.
Other Servers
Click to display or hide servers in the site in addition to the
two being traced (the current site server and the selected site
system). This button is unavailable if you selected site view
because all site servers are already shown in site view.
Zoom to Fit
Click to make the map fit the current window.
Zoom In
Click to increase the size of the map by five percent.
Zoom Out
Click to decrease the size of the map by five percent.

to see if they can be reached:

Unreachable
Ping Selected
Click to send an ICMP echo request to all selected servers and routers to see
if they can be reached:

This button is unavailable if no servers or routers are
selected.

Components
Click to open the Component
Poller dialog box, which you can use to poll the SMS
components of the selected servers. This button is unavailable if
no servers are selected.
