Modify a Collection

Note    You must have Modify permission for a Collection security object to modify the properties of that collection.

1. 

   Navigate to Collections.

2.  Systems Management Server
      Site Database
        Collections

3. Right-click the collection you want to modify, and then click Properties.
4. In the Collection Properties dialog box, update the settings as follows:
5. • In the General tab, update the general data for the collection.
   • In the Membership Rules tab, specify how and when resources are added to this collection.
6. If you modified any of the membership rules, SMS prompts you to update the list of resources in the collection. Click Yes to update membership now, or click No to postpone the update until it is scheduled to run.
