View Software Inventory for a Client

Note    You must have Read permission for the Collection security object class or instance to view software inventory for clients in a collection.

1. 

   Navigate to Collections.

2.  Systems Management Server
      Site Database
        Collections

3. Select the collection that contains the client.
4. Right-click the client whose inventory you want to view, click All Tasks, and then click Resource Explorer.
5. In the left pane of the Resource Explorer window, click Software.
6. To view the inventory of common software products (such as Microsoft Office), click Manufacturer and then click the manufacturer name.

7. The client software inventory appears in the details pane.

8. To view the inventory of unknown files (such as .bat files), click UnknownFiles.

9. The inventory of unknown files appears in the details pane.
