Modify a Query

Note    You must have Modify permission for the Query security object class to modify Queries properties.

1. 

   Navigate to Queries.

2.  Systems Management Server
      Site Database
        Queries

3. Right-click the query that you want to modify, and then click Properties.
4. Modify the settings in the the Query Properties dialog box, and then click Edit Query Statement.
5. In the Query Statement Properties dialog box, modify the settings in the following tabs:
6. • Use the General tab to modify the attributes to be returned in the results of the query, the order the attribute results are presented in within columns, and how they are sorted.
   • Use the Criteria tab to modify the query criteria and limit the results that are returned.
   • Use the Joins tab to combine data from two different attribute classes or to modify an existing join operation.

Note    If you want to use an existing query as the basis for a new query (to preserve the original query), click Browse on the Query Properties dialog box to locate and select the existing query. The new query will inherit the properties of the existing query which you can then modify.
