Configure the Component Status Summarizer

Note   You must have Modify permission for the Site security object class or instance to perform this procedure.

  1. Navigate to Status Summarizers.

  2.  Systems Management Server
       Lower levelSite Database
         Lower levelSite Hierarchy
           Lower levelsite name
             Lower levelSite Settings
               Lower levelStatus Summarizers

  3. In the details pane, right-click Component Status Summarizer, and then click Properties.
  4. In the Component Status Summarizer Properties dialog box, click the General tab.
  5. Select Enable status summarization.
  6. Select a Threshold period to specify how often the status message counts are reset to zero.
  7. Click the Thresholds tab, and then select one of the three message types.
  8. In the Thresholds table, select the component you want to configure and then click button icon.
  9. In the General tab of the Status Threshold Properties dialog box, set the thresholds for the component.
