Properties Dialog Box: Security
Tab
Use this tab to set the default security rights on
security
objects. To see this tab, you must have Administer permission on at least
one security object.
- Class security rights
- The user accounts and security permissions set for this
security object class.

- Name
- The Windows NT user name or group name for which the
security right applies.
- Permissions
- The permissions granted the account in Name for this
security object class.

- Click to open the Security Right
Properties dialog box, which you can use to create a new
security right.

- Click to open the Security Right
Properties dialog box for the selected security right,
which you can use to modify it.

- Click to delete the selected security right.
- Instance security rights
- The same as Class security rights, above, except that it
contains the security rights on this specific instance of the
security object.

- Name
- The Windows NT user name or group name for which the
security right applies.
- Permissions
- The permissions granted the account in Name for this
security object instance.

- Click to open the Security Right
Properties dialog box, which you can use to create a new
security right.

- Click to open the Security Right
Properties dialog box for the selected security right,
which you can use to modify it.

- Click to delete the selected security right.
