Configure Windows Networking Logon Discovery

Note   You must have Modify permission for the Site security object class or instance to perform this procedure.

  1. Navigate to Discovery Methods.

  2.  Systems Management Server
       Lower levelSite Database
         Lower levelSite Hierarchy
           Lower levelsite name
             Lower levelSite Settings
               Lower levelDiscovery Methods

  3. Right-click Windows Networking Logon Discovery, and then click Properties.
  4. In the Windows Networking Logon Discovery Properties dialog box, click the General tab.
  5. Select Enable Windows Networking Logon Discovery, and then specify the domains to be used as logon points.
  6. Click the Logon Settings tab, select Modify user logon scripts, and then specify how often to update them. Once per day is recommended.

    Note   Windows Networking Logon Discovery will not work unless Modify user logon scripts is selected.
