Configure Software Inventory for a Site

Note You must have Modify permission for the Site security object class or instance to perform this procedure.

Navigate to Client Agents for the site.
Systems Management Server
   Site Database
     Site Hierarchy
       site name
         Site Settings
           Client Agents
Right-click Software Inventory Client Agent, and then click Properties.
In the Software Inventory Client Agent Properties dialog box, complete the settings on these tabs:
- In the General tab, enable and schedule software inventory.
- In the Inventory Collection tab, select the reporting detail you want and specify the file types you want to inventory.
- In the File Collection tab, specify any files you want to collect from clients.
