Configure Hardware Inventory for a Site

Note   You must have Modify permission for the Site security object class or instance to perform this procedure.

  1. Navigate to Client Agents for the site.

  2.  Systems Management Server
       Lower levelSite Database
         Lower levelSite Hierarchy
           Lower levelsite name
             Lower levelSite Settings
               Lower levelClient Agents

  3. Right-click Hardware Inventory Client Agent, and then click Properties.
  4. In the General tab of the Hardware Inventory Client Agent Properties dialog box, select Enable hardware inventory on clients.
  5. Under Client hardware inventory schedule, specify when and how often to collect hardware inventory.
