Create a Sender

Note   You must have Modify permission for the Site security object class or instance to perform this procedure.

  1. Navigate to Senders.

  2.  Systems Management Server
       Lower levelSite Database
         Lower levelSite Hierarchy
           Lower levelsite name
             Lower levelSite Settings
               Lower levelSenders

  3. Right-click Senders, point to New, and then select the type of sender you want to create.
  4. Complete the settings in the Sender Properties dialog box, and then click OK.

Note    Standard Sender and Courier Sender are installed and configured by default on all primary and secondary sites. Courier Sender does not appear in the list of senders in the details pane and must be started separately from the SMS Start menu.
