Create a Trusted
Domain SMS Service Account in a Windows NT Domain
Within a site, if you set up trust
relationships between Windows NT domains, you must:
Set up one SMS Service account in one master Windows NT
domain in the site, and have other Windows NT domains use this
account. Do not set up other SMS Service accounts in the other
Windows NT domains.
Make sure that all Windows NT domains in the site trust
the master Windows NT domain (which contains the SMS Service
account).
Make sure that the SMS Service account in the master
Windows NT domain is a member of the Domain Admins group (or,
for a greater level of security, a member of the local
Administrators group in all Windows NT domains at the site),
and that it has Log on as a service rights in all
Windows NT domains at the site.

Windows NT domains, user accounts, and network security, see
your Windows NT product documentation.
