About the Client Services Non-DC Account

SMS uses the Client Services Non-DC account (SMSCliSvcAcct&) to run client services on non-domain controllers. This account persists until the client components are removed from the computer.

While it exists, the Client Services Non-DC account is a member of the local Administrators group on each client computer and has these rights on clients:

• Log on as a service
• Act as part of the operating system
• Replace a process level token
