By modifying the properties of your library servers, you can assign library groups to organize your library servers. For example, you might use library groups to associate library servers with a nearby host group. The library group property can only be set after a library server is added.

To specify a library group for a library server
  1. In Library view, expand Library Servers, and navigate to the library server that you want to modify.

  2. In the Actions pane, under Library Server, click Properties.

  3. To group the library server with other library servers for management purposes, in the Library group field, enter a library group name.

To display library groups in Library view
  1. In Library view, click Columns on the toolbar.

  2. In the Select Columns dialog box, select Library Group.

  3. Use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to move the column to the position where you want it in the results list. Then click OK.

This adds a Library Group column to the results list and adds Library Group to the Group by list. You can now sort by the new column or use the Group by field to group your library servers by library group.
