How to Set the Scope for a User Role

You can determine which hosts and library shares that users and groups have access to by setting the scope in the user role.

To set the scope for a user role

From the User Roles view in the VMM Administrator Console, select the user role you want to modify.
In the Actions pane, click Properties, and then click the Scope tab.
Select the objects you want to enable the members of the user role to manage.
