Use this procedure to add subscriptions to partner software update catalogs to My software updates catalogs. Once you add a software updates catalog subscription to My software updates catalogs you can import the software updates from the catalog into the Updates Publisher 2011 repository.

To add partner software updates catalog subscriptions

  1. In the Updates Publisher 2011 console, click Catalogs. The Catalogs workspace is listed in the console tree.

  2. In the Catalogs workspace, on the Home tab, click Add Catalogs to open the Add Partner Catalogs dialog box.

  3. To add all the partner catalogs to the Selected Partners Catalog list, click Add All.

  4. To add individual partner catalogs to the Selected Partners Catalog list, select the available catalogs that you want to add, and then click Add.

  5. To remove catalogs from the Selected Partners Catalog list, click Remove or Remove All.

  6. Click OK to add all the catalogs in the Selected Partners Catalog list to My software updates catalogs.

The catalogs are now listed in My software updates catalogs. You can now import the software updates from the catalogs into the Updates Publisher 2011 repository where they can be published or exported.

Important
When you subscribed to a partner catalog, Updates Publisher 2011 posts an alert at startup if the catalog is updated since it was last imported. To not receive these alerts, see Advanced Options.
