Use the following procedure to create controls from a library in
a program that you can access from the Service Manager console.
To create controls from the library in the
program
- In the Service Manager console, in the Navigation pane,
select Compliance and Risk Items.
- In the Compliance and Risk Items pane, expand All
Compliance and Risk Items, expand Program Management,
and then select All Programs.
- In the All Programs view, select a program.
- In the Task pane, click Create Controls from
Library.
The Create Controls from Library Wizard
appears.
Complete the
Create Controls from Library Wizard using information in the
following table.

Program Selection

- In the Select a Program that you own, where the Control
Objectives and Activities will be imported box, select the
<program> to which you want to import control
objectives and control activities.
- In the Select the Category , where the Control Objectives
and Activities will be imported box, select the
<category> name of the control objectives and
control activities that you want to import.
Tip If you have not
created a category, you can leave the default set to
None.
- Click Next.

Authority Document Selection
|
- In the Category box, select the
<document_category> to define the type of
authority document that you want to select.
Note: If you do not select a category,
all authority documents display.
- In the Authority Documents search box, click the check
box next to each <authority_document> that you
want to add from the library, and then click Add.
Note: You can select as many authority
documents as your program requires.
- Click Next.

Control Objective Selection
|
- In the Select Control Objectives box, select the check
box next to each <objective> or select the
Select All check box to select all control objectives that
you want to add from the library.
Note: You can select as many control
objectives as your program requires.
- Click Next.

Control Activity Selection
|
- In the Select Control Activity box, select the check box
next to each <activity> or select the Select
All check box to select all control activities that you want
to add from the library.
Note: You can select as many control
activities as required by your program.
- Click Next.

Summary
|
- Review the list of control objectives that you want to
import
- Click Create.
Note This process can
take a number of minutes depending on the number of control
objectives to import.

Completion
|
- Review the status of the import process.
- Click Close.
The Program Management property dialog
box appears.
- In the Program Management dialog box, on the
Framework tab, in the Expand to area, click Level
7, and then click Expand.
The framework hierarchy of the program
displays in the Framework list box. Review the list of
control objectives that you have added to the program.
- In the Program Management dialog box, click
OK.
