When you install System Center Reporting Manager (SCRM) 2006, a prerequisite checker runs as part of the Setup program. The Setup Wizard checks for the hardware and software requirements listed below and displays a Prerequisite Check Failed screen if any requirements were not met. You can then review the log details on the affected components and failures.

Supported Hardware
For the SCRM 2006 database and SCRM Administrator console, you need the following hardware.
