MOM 2005 SP1 and above DTS Synchronization Method
MOM 2005 SP1 and above supports a single DTS synchronization method termed as Default synchronization.
SMS 2003 SP2 and above DTS Synchronization Methods:
SMS 2003 SP2 and above DTS jobs support two synchronization types.
Select this synchronization method when you want the DTS job to send only differences from the last DTS synchronization. This method reduces the amount of data and the time required to execute the specified DTS job.
Delta synchronization is the default synchronization method for new SMS DTS jobs.
Select this synchronization method when you want the DTS job to send a complete copy of all designated information to the data warehouse.
