Add Data Source Wizard: Data Source Server Page

Enter the computer name in domain\computer name format. Click Next to validate.

- If validated, the wizard retains the data source server name and proceeds to the next validation step.
- If not, a warning dialog is displayed.
If validation is successful, the Data Source Database page is displayed.

In addition, for a MOM 2005 SP1 and above data source, SCRM verifies if it can ping the server. If the validation is successful, Data Source SQL Server Instance Page is displayed.

For an SMS 2003 SP2 and above data source, the wizard verifies if the server was used to add another SMS data source to SCRM. If the specified server name has been used, the Conflicting Data Source warning dialog is presented.
