The following procedure shows you how to block a Windows Mobile device from establishing a connection through Mobile Device Manager (MDM) Gateway Server.

Note:
You can use MDM Shell cmdlets and PowerShell scripts to automate Windows Mobile device management tasks. For more information on blocking a managed device with an MDM Shell cmdlet, see Add-BlockedDevice.

To block a device from connecting through MDM Gateway Server

  1. Open MDM Console. In the navigation pane, expand Device Management.

  2. Select All Managed Devices. The list of managed devices appears in the details pane.

  3. Find the device name and select it.

  4. Right-click the device name and then select Block Device Connections.

  5. In the confirmation dialog box, choose Yesto confirm that you want to block the device.
