The following procedure shows how you can create a package view in Mobile Device Manager (MDM) Software Distribution Console and filter the packages list that appears in the details pane.

To create a package view

  1. In MDM Software Distribution Console, in the navigation pane, expand Packages. Right-click Software Packagesand then select New Package View.

  2. In the Add Package Viewdialog box, in the Step 1: Select propertiesbox, select Packages are approved for a specific group (not including inherited approvals).

  3. The selected property appears in the Step 2: Edit the propertiesbox. To edit this property, select the link.

  4. In the Step 3: Specify a namebox, type the name of your new package view.

  5. Choose OK.
